About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to help build the Intelligence Fabric. You'll work on challenging problems at the intersection of data engineering, AI/ML, and user experience—creating systems that understand how people work and help them work better.
This is a founding engineering role with significant scope to shape our technical direction. You'll work closely with our CTO and a small, senior team to build products that enterprise customers love.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement core platform features using TypeScript, Next.js, and Node.js
- Build and optimize data pipelines that process millions of events from Microsoft Graph API
- Develop AI-powered features that personalize learning journeys based on usage patterns
- Architect scalable systems on Azure (Container Apps, PostgreSQL, Redis, AI Services)
- Collaborate with product and design to create exceptional user experiences
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering culture
- Participate in on-call rotation for production systems
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Next.js)
- Experience with Node.js backend development and RESTful API design
- Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and caching (Redis)
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS acceptable)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a remote-first environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with Microsoft Graph API or Microsoft 365 development
- Background in AI/ML or experience integrating LLM APIs
- Knowledge of behavioural science or learning design principles
- Experience in early-stage startups or building products from 0 to 1
- Contributions to open source projects
